Before the inception of EKquisite Cleaning Maid Service Memphis, my career path led me through over 12 years of serving the community, from teaching to coaching and managing parks for the City of Memphis. However, it was a personal journey that brought about the creation of our cleaning service. After transforming my mother’s home into an Airbnb with my brother, we encountered challenges finding reliable and high-quality cleaners. Faced with this dilemma, I took matters into my own hands, driven by a desire to maintain the standards our guests deserved. Despite the emotional difficulty of losing my mother to COVID-19, it was during this period of cleaning that I found solace and embarked on a healing journey. Thus, EKquisite Cleaning Maid Service of Memphis was born from the ashes of loss, fueled by a commitment to EKcellence to serve .

How EKquisite Cleaning Started

Why the name EKquisite ?

I know some my wonder why does this company spell exquisite as EKquisite ! For starters as the owner I wanted something different of course in a name but a name that had to have soul meaning because I felt like I was birthing my business with purpose and the vision God placed in me to share with the world . So I knew it had to represent the women I was birthed to be , honor and acknowledge women I admired , and meaning from its definition that I wanted to give to my clients .

In 2021 I lost my mom to Covid-19, one of the most devastating experiences in my life that broke me . Broke me to the point I didn’t want to be on earth anymore I had no grandparents , my dad transitioned in 2002, now my mom , my rock my strength , the women who told me what I needed to hear when I didn’t want to , my prayer partner , my heart . My mom was so beautiful , especially in her hay-day , she looked so old school Hollywood ! I often told her I wish I was tall and pretty as you mom and she always gave me affirmations to say and one was “ I am beautiful “ . Exquisite means extremely beautiful, lavishly elegant. When I think of my mom I think of her as an exquisite women of beauty and exquisite taste in decor. It is with my mother teachings of having a strong foundation of God , that having faith and believing well as Gods grace that lead to the creation of EKquisite Cleaning Services.

But why the spelling ?

As a proud member of a divine nine sorority, Epsilon Kappa is my chapter name ! One of the many reasons I chose my sorority is the strong inspirational and influential women of the 20th century. No differences are with my chapter , so many women have inspired me to tap into the women God me out to be , from those before me , those I crossed with , and the young women after me . I see women of EKcellence!

Why EKquisite for our clients ?

We want to give our clients a luxury experience when they book with us ! It’s a big deal to invite a perfect stranger in one’s home and we want to make sure our clients are treated like family and that means clients are now royalty . We too want to ensure our clients homes are exquisitely clean so they can admire the beauty of their homes. We believe having a clean home gives a state of peace and that peace in a client secret dwelling helps to ground them mentally and spiritually .

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment?

Yes, we bring everything we need to clean your home. You don’t have to provide anything.

How many people will be cleaning my home?

EKQUISITE Cleaning Services may send one, two, or three team members to clean a home. This will depend on a number of factors such as how large your house is and how quickly you would like it cleaned. We will work with you to determine how many team members to send over.

Do I have to be home when you come over to clean my house?

No, you don’t have to be home. In fact, most of our customers are not home when we come clean. You can provide a garage/door code or leave a spare key for us. But it is advisable to be home for your first cleaning with ECS to do a walk through with your house cleaner.

What do I need to do before you come to my home and begin cleaning?

We ask that you please make sure to remove clothes and clutter from the floor or from surfaces that will be cleaned. Our team members bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment, but if there is a particular product you will like us to use, you can supply that.

How can I know that EKQUISITE Cleaning Services will do a good job?

All of our services are backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with the service you receive, we will do everything we can to make it right.
